A Turning Point for the 360 vs Wii?

It appears that the recent price cut on the 360, or possibly the BioShock/Halo buzz maybe helping the system out.

Obviously, Google trends does not predict the number of sales a system has, but it does give a decent idea of buzz and trends. Recently, it appears the the 360 has overcome the Wii in search popularity. Remember, Google has over 80% of the search marketshare, so it does so a nice, broad selection of users.

Could this be a turning point for the 360? Is the system beginning to pick up steam? Could BioShock (which I LOVE) be giving the 360 just a small shock in the arm? Only time will tell, but we're keeping an eye on the trends.

Just in case you're wondering, we didn't bother adding the PS3 on the chart...It basically is a flatline...dead...much like the system. (so far)

P.S. Those Big Daddies are FREAKING hard to kill!

I like my 360, but I feel that alot of the google research going on for the 360 is looking up its failure record. I know I researched it alot before I broke down and got one. Im also sure that alot of people will not break down and get one once the research all of the horror stories out there, whether they be true or not.

I was going to say the same thing, I search for Xbox360 in the last 2 days in goodle and youtube to know about the failures of the 360 RROD.

sometimes media can use some data to show the opposite of reality...

The real numbers that shows the situation is the Wii sales which finally overtook the 360
