Plasma prices plumment 25%, Sales Rocket

It's nice to see sales of Plasma TV's making a comeback. Panasonic is really sold on the technology and pushing it hard.
The average street price for 42" plasma HDTVs dropped 25 percent in just one month.

According to Pacific Media Associates, flat panel TV's in general had a nice spike in sales, a whopping 109% increase from October to November. Panasonic also had the top selling flat panel around. The best-selling consumer model was the 42" Panasonic TH-42PX60U with a strong 11.4% unit share. Its average street price was $1,327, which was a 24% drop from its October price.

This is certainly a great trend for consumers, and it appears it will stay that way for a while.
