Wii Internet Channel/browsing coming in a few days!

Well, here's some good news for all of you Wii fans! Word is on Friday the Wii will offer a free download of the Opera browser and you gain free access to the Internet Channel!
OK, well that's the good news, the bad: It's only free until June, then they start charging around $5 a month. Also, keep in mind that this is mearly a beta test. The full version doesn't launch until March or so.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Opera browser, use is daily!

Do you have a source for the "$5 a month"? According to every source I've seen, it'll only cost $5 to *download* after June.. but continued use and access is completely free.

I hope that $5 a month is just a rumor..I've actually heard both accounts. I can't imagine they will charge as much as XBox Live

I wouldn't pay for it no matter what they charged.. I pay enough for my internet as it is. heh.

Paying per month to use a browser on a gaming system is simply ridiculous.

OH well, guess we'll have to wait and see.
